The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Hazaribag Sadar P.S. Case No. 179 of 2024, S.T. No.429 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Hazaribag. On 03.05.2024, some altercation had taken place between the petitioner and his brother over the property dispute. Both started fighting and the petitioner during the fight pushed his brother in a well, due to which, he died. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that charge has been framed in this case. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at this stage. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial. If the trial is not concluded within nine months, petitioner if so advised may renew his prayer for bail. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
