The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Burmamines P.S. Case No.44 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 103 (1)/238/61(2)/3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Sri Ravi Shankar Pandey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum. On 09.07.2024, brother of the informant namely Shubham Kumar Singh went missing. On 10.07.2024 his dead body was recovered from a place near the house of co-accused Sahil Das. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired in confession of co-accused Sahil Das. It appears that the statement of the witness Sagar Besra has been recorded in which he has stated that co-accused Sahil Das has shot the deceased due to which he succumbed to his injury. The accused Sahil Das has stated that the murder weapon was given to him by this petitioner. Learned A.P.P. has submitted that petitioner is accused in as many as four cases. Considering the fact that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner that he has shot the deceased, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Ravi Shankar Pandey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum or his successor, in connection with Burmamines P.S.
