It has been submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that during the pendency of the instant petition, the order of detention has further been extended, as such, the petitioner wants to challenge the said order of preventive detention. 2025:JHHC:10452-DB Page 2 2. This Court is of the view that the earlier detention order was passed on 04.09.2024. Thereafter, it has been extended again vide order dated 19.11.2024 by which the order of preventive detention of the petitioner has been extended for 04.12.2024 to 03.03.2025 which the petitioner intends to challenge by filing a fresh petition. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has sought for leave of this Court by not pressing the instant petition with a liberty to challenge the order passed by the authority afresh. 4. Considering the aforesaid submission of the learned counsel, the instant petition being WP(Cr.) (DB) No. 966 of 2024 stands dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty to the petitioner to challenge afresh the order passed by the authority in connection with the detention of the present petitioner. 5.
