Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Petitioner felt aggrieved against the rejection of her candidature by the respondents against the post of Lecturer (School-New) under advertisement dated 17.10.2023. She had applied for the aforesaid post as a Scheduled Caste category candidate. The respondents did not accept the petitioner’s candidature against the Scheduled Caste category. Hence the writ petition. 2. Under a detailed order passed in this writ petition on 08.01.2025, petitioner’s prayer for grant of interim relief was not accepted. Yes -2- on 21.03.2025 that learned counsel for the petitioner requested for considering the candidature of the petitioner against General category. Accordinlgy, learned counsel for respondent No.3 was directed to have instructions. 3. During the course of hearing today, learned counsel for respondent No.3 apprised that result for the selection process had been declared on 11.03.2025 and based upon the said result, recommendations have also been made on 18.03.2025. 4. In view of above at this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw the writ petition. 5. Prayer is accepted. This writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
