1. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order as contained in memo no.273 dated 6th April, 2024 (Annexure- 9 to the writ petition), whereby PDS licence of the petitioner has been cancelled.
2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering that the petitioner has efficacious remedy of preferring appeal under Clause 30(1) of the Jharkhand Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2022 against the order as contained in memo no.273 dated 6th April, 2024 passed by the respondent no.3, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition at this stage.
3. However, if the petitioner prefers an appeal invoking the provision of Clause 30(1) of the said Order, 2022 before the appellate authority by 7th March, 2025 along with an application seeking condonation of delay in filing of the same,
the said application shall be leniently considered by the appellate authority and the matter shall be heard on its merit.
4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with the aforesaid liberty and direction.
