Case No. 25 of 2021(N) corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 53 of 2022(S), for the offences registered under Sections 20, 22 and 25 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Ranchi. 3. On 08.08.2024, at about 01:00 p.m., Sikidiri Police intercepted a Swift Dzire bearing Registration No. JH10BS 7180 near village Muta and on search, 130 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from the said vehicle. Nobody was apprehended at the spot. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R., nor anything incriminating was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confession of the owner of the vehicle that he was driving the said vehicle at the time of occurrence. 5. Mr. Bhola Nath Ojha, learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. 6. Considering the fact that apart from confession, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum- Special Judge (N.D.P.S.), Ranchi in connection with Sikidiri P.S.
