Petitioners have approached this Court for protection. According to them, there is grave threat to their life on account of their marriage against the wish of parents and family members of petitioner No. 1. 3. As per the mark sheet of petitioner No. 1, enclosed with the writ petition, her date of birth is 02.01.2007. Learned State Counsel, on instructions, also submits that petitioner No. 1 is major. 4. Since both the petitioners are major, and they have married, though against the wish of family members of petitioner No. 1, therefore the Writ Petition is disposed of by permitting petitioners to approach the SHO, Police Station-Bazpur, District Udham Singh Nagar, for protection. 5. If petitioners make formal application for protection to the SHO concerned, their request shall be considered as per law, after assessing their threat perception within one week from 2025:UHC:1367-DB date of receipt of application. 6. Till the decision is taken on petitioners’ application, SHO concerned shall ensure that there is no harm caused to them by private respondents. 7.
