Sri Venkata Rama Rao Kota, learned Standing Counsel for APSPDCL, has submitted the Written Instructions furnished by the Assistant Executive Engineer, Operation, Mudigubba, Sathya Sai District, dated 11.08.2025 along with certain documents. Copies of it are supplied to the Counsel for the Writ Petitioners and the same are taken on record. 2. The Written Instructions would indicate that the Official Respondents are not averse to providing Electricity Connection to the Writ Petitioners, provided that the Writ Petitioners pay the necessary charges. Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioners would submit that the Writ Petitioners are always ready and willing to pay the charges as levied by the 3. 4. 3 Department and requests this Court to direct the Respondents to provide the Electricity Connection as expeditiously as possible. Sri Venkata Rama Rao Kota, learned Standing Counsel for APSPDCL, would submit that the Official Respondents have already communicated the necessary charges to the Writ Petitioners. Having regard to the above facts, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this Writ Petition at the admission stage without going into merit by directing the Official Respondents to provide the Electricity Connection within 48 hours of making payment by the Writ Petitioners. The Writ Petitioners are required to produce evidence of payment before the Official Respondents. With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. No order as to costs.
