Petitioner alleges violation of decision rendered in Thakur Dass Vs. State of H.P. & Ors.2 In the aforesaid decision, direction was given to the respondents to decide the case of the petitioner in light of decision rendered in Roop Lal Vs. State of H.P. & Ors. 3 2. At this stage, learned Additional Advocate General has placed on record a copy of order dated 07.02.2025 passed by the Hon’ble Apex Court in Special Leave Petition (Civil) Diary No(s). 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2CWP No. 1450/2024 decided on 16.05.2024 3CWPOA No. 6687/2020 alongwith connected matters decided on 19.04.2024 60557/2024, whereby the operation of the judgment rendered in Roop Lal’s case3 has been stayed. 3. In view of above developments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proceedings be closed at this stage, however, petitioner be granted liberty to seek appropriate remedy, in accordance with law for the redressal of his grievances, at an appropriate stage. 4.
