ORDER
The instant criminal petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short Cr.P.C.,) has been filed by the petitioners/accused, seeking quashment of the proceedings against them in Crime No.134 of 2019 of Pamur Police Station, Prakasham District.
2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has furnished a copy of instructions of the Station House Officer, Pamur Police Station dated 02.02.2025, wherein it is stated that after due investigation the Police has filed a charge sheet on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kanigiri against A1 on 18.09.2022 and the same is awaited for numbering.
3. In view of the above instructions, as investigation is already completed, this Court feels it appropriate to dispose of the petition directing the respondents to see that the calendar case is numbered, as expeditiously as possible. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said calendar case when numbered, if at all he has any grievance. It is to be noted that the crime against A2 and A3 was already quashed by this Court on 04.02.2025 vide Crl.P.No.6361 of 2019.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
