The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to close the rowdy sheet against the petitioner. 3. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. The contention of the petitioner is that his name is included in the Rowdy Sheet List. Accordingly, he made a representation to the Deputy Commissioner of Police stating that he has been acquitted in the criminal cases and now he is - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:843 WP No. 18791 of 2021 leading his life normally and has not involved in any criminal cases. Counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction may be issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and to remove his name from the rowdy sheet list. 5. AGA submits that an appropriate order may be passed. 6. The representation is furnished along with the Writ Petition and the same is marked as Annexure-H. It is made in the year 2021 i.e., on 04.03.2021. The contention of the petitioner is that his representation has not been considered as of today. Hence, a Mandamus is ordered directing the Deputy Commissioner of Police - third respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner in accordance with the law and if necessary take note of the subsequent events and act in accordance with the law for the closure of rowdy sheet as far as petitioner is concerned, within eight weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order. 7.
