Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Chouparan P.S. Case No. 338 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 317(5), 3(5), 272, 274, 275, 292 of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 47(a) of the Excise Act, pending in the Court of Sri Sumant Dixit, learned J.M.F.C., Hazaribag. It was submitted that 576 bottles of English liquor were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 29.09.2024 and offence alleged is triable by a Court of Judicial Magistrate. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Sumant Dixit, learned J.M.F.C., Hazaribag or his successor, in connection with Chouparan P.S.
