Advocate has produced before this Court an order dated 26.12.2025 passed by the Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Department of Housing and Urban Affairs re-instating the petitioner and allowing him to continue as the Junior Engineer, Town and Country Planning with effect from the date of taking over of the charge. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is not aware of the orders of re-instatement passed by the Secretary to the Govt. of Assam Department of Housing & Urban Affairs. The order of re-instatement being brought to the notice of the learned counsel for the petitioner today, the petitioner shall ensure that he joins to his post as required in law within a period of 7 (seven) days from today, if he has not already joined the post. Since the prayers made in the writ petition regarding his re-instatement has been allowed by the Department, this writ petition does not require any further adjudication in the present form and is closed on the relief being granted.
