THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO: 229 of 2025 ORDER: The Criminal Petition, u/See.482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is filed on behalf of the petitioner/A2 to grant anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.154/2024 of Eluru I Town Police Station, EIuru District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner and another for the offences punishable u/Sec.420, 370, 506 read with 34 lPC and Section 24 of the Emigration Act. 3. The case of the prosecution in brief is that: The informant is a resident of Bavisettivaripeta, E[uru and the victim is his wife. Due to financial problems, the informant decided to send his w-lfe to Oman for employment. He came to know that Al sent people to work in homes in Oman. He contacted Al over phone and he approached the informant and his wife and convinced them that he would arrange work to the victim in Oman and she would earn salary of Rs.30,000/- per month. The accused demanded Rs.30,000/- for passport and flight tickets, which they paid. ln May, 2023, the victim was sent to Oman but she had not received any salary for the past nine months.
