In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been contended that the petitioner had retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.03.2023 from the respondent. It is contended that EPF, Gratuity, Encashment of leave and Commutation value pension amount were disbursed only on 30.10.2024 and 01.11.2024 to the petitioner. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.8032 of 2025 3. A direction is issued to the respondents that since it is a delayed payment, they should also pay interest @ 6% p.a. from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement. Necessary orders shall be passed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
