None for the complainant. *** MANISHA BATRA, J (ORAL):- Through the instant petition under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’), the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 21 dated 04.02.2025 registered under Sections 409, 420, 465, 468 and 471 of IPC (Sections 467 and 120-B of IPC added later on) at Police Station Sadar, Faridkot. 2. Vide order dated 24.02.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner was released on interim bail and was directed to join investigation. 3. Learned State counsel filed status report dated 04.04.2025. The same is taken on record. She further, on instructions states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is not required for custodial interrogation. 4. In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation on 25.02.2025, his custodial interrogation is not required as Parveen Sharma 2025.05.19 17:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-10603-2025 2- stated by learned State counsel. As such, pre-trial incarceration of the petitioner would not serve any purpose. Accordingly, the petition is allowed and the order 24.02.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to compliance of conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of BNSS. 5.
