The present writ application has been preferred stating inaction on the part of Berhampore Municipality, in considering the petitioner’s application dated 21.01.2019 praying for mutation of the property purchased by him. It appears that the said application is pending since 2019 and the said application has been duly submitted with the Municipality. As there is none appearing on behalf of Municipality Mr. Rajarshi Basu along with his junior Ms. Nilam Singh are appointed to represent the State who are empanelled lawyer of the State of West Bengal (civil) in the present case. Let their appointment be regularized. Considering the said fact the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the respondent no. 2 3 being the Chairman of the Berhampore Municipality shall consider the application dated 21.01.2019 filed by the petitioner herein in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a period of 30 days from the date of communication of this order, on giving a proper hearing to the parties and by passing a reasoned order. Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. Parties to act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon'ble High Court.
