This matter is being taken up in the National Lok Adalat held on 13.09.2025. 5. The instant appeal from order is preferred by the appellants- claimants against the Award dated 23.04.2016, passed by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/ 3rd Additional District Judge, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar in MAC Petition No.48 of 2015, for seeking enhancement of the awarded amount. 6. Today, learned counsel for respondent no.1- Insurance Company submits that the Insurance Company is ready to pay a sum of Rs. 13,50,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs Fifty Thousand) to the appellants- claimants, over and above the amount already paid. 7. Learned counsel for the appellants has agreed to the above proposal. 8. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, this appeal is disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent no.1 to pay a sum of Rs. Rs.13,50,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs Fifty Thousand) to the appellants, over and above the amount already paid, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 9. Impugned award dated 23.04.2016, passed by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/ 3rd Additional District Judge, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar in MAC Petition No.48 of 2015, stands modified accordingly. 10. Compromise deed dated 13.09.2025 written by the respective parties before the National Lok Adalat shall form part of this order. 11. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
