Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj, learned Counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, matter is heard at this stage. 2. This writ petition has been filed for grant of following substantive relief:- “i. That the directions may kindly be issued to the respondent Corporation to release the payment of over time i.e. five hours instead of two hours 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - w.e.f. 01.10.2012 to 31.10.2015 (five hours as per CTU Chandigarh pattern). ii. That the respondent may kindly be directed to pay the over time payment as above along with interest @18% per annum to the petitioner with effect from due date till the date of its realization.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aged 63 years and is representing to the respondents for redressal of his aforesaid grievances for a quite some time. Some of his representations submitted to the respondents w.e.f. 26.12.2015 to 24.05.2017 have been appended with the writ petition as Annexures P-1 and P-2, however, the same have still not been decided by the respondents /Competent Authority. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be content in case respondents/Competent Authority is directed to decide the aforesaid representations within a fixed time schedule. Learned counsel for the respondents is not averse to this prayer. 4. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents/ Competent Authority to consider and decide the aforesaid - 3 - representations of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
