S LAKSHMINARAYANA REDDY(SC FOR GVMC) The Court made the following: 3 ORDER:- The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners apprehend interference on the part of the respondent authorities and dispossession from their houses. 2. This Court directed status quo to be maintained vide an order dated 01.05.2015. 3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the GVMC, upon written instructions, submits that the petitioners are occupying A.W.D. Government Land, i.e., Assessed Waste Dry Land, and Government Pattas were issued during the year 2018-19. It is also stated in the instructions that, in respect of the land in Sy. Nos.90/1 and 90/2, the petitioners have obtained proper permission from the competent authorities for construction of buildings and are presently in occupation and enjoyment of the buildings. 4. Considering the submissions, this writ petition is disposed off, directing the respondents not to dispossess the petitioners without following due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
