1. In the present petition(s), the petitioner(s) has claimed interest on the amount of the award passed by the Land Acquisition Officer dated
02.09.2010. It is also pleaded that the amount of the award was paid after a lapse of eight years. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner(s) has a remedy to approach the District Collector according to the provisions of Section 80 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. 3. The instant petition is liable to be disposed of on two grounds, first, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner(s), and second, there is an efficacious alternative remedy available in his favour; therefore, this petition is disposed of reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner(s) to approach the authority concerned according to the provisions of Section 80 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. 4.
