The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No.215 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 201 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. On 29.06.2023 at about 11.00 p.m., Informant Puti Devi was present in the house along with her son Durga Khariya, when the petitioner and other co-accused persons abducted her son. Thereafter, his dead body was recovered from a place near Ledha Tesha Tongri. It appears that Bail application of similarly situated co-accused Magdha @ Ranthu Khariya @ Magdha Kharia @ Ranthu Kharia @ Khariya was earlier rejected by this court vide B.A. No. 6713 of 2024. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
