Pursuant to the Notification dated 20.04.2025, the Petitioner had applied for the post of Physical Education Teacher in Tribal Welfare, Social Welfare, Society Welfare, Visual Handicapped, Handicapped, Juvenile Schools in the entire State and he attended examination on 22.06.2025, wherein question No.81 vide I.D.No.39226617601 is given as “The first game introduced in “Para Olympics”. Among the choice given, the Petitioner has answered the same as “Archery”. However, in the final answer key, it was stated that ‘Archery’ is wrong answer. Questioning the same, the present Writ Petition came to be filed. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Education for the Respondents would submit that the Department had decided to award marks to those individuals, who have answered the question as “shooting” with intent to avoid litigation and placed on record the Written Instructions of Joint Director, (TET-cum-TRC) & Convenor Mega DSC-2025, dated 10.08.2025, wherein it was mentioned as follows:- “In this regard it is submitted that, the subject expert committee, after due consideration, confirmed “Archery’ as the correct answer based on authoritative historical records. However, in view of the specific nature of this question and the representations received on the final key, the Department has decided, without prejudice to the correctness of the final key, to also award marks to candidates who answered “Shooting’. This decision has been taken solely to avoid prolonged litigation and to ensure timely completion of the ongoing recruitment process, and shall not be treated as a precedent for any other question or subject”. 4. In that view, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive. The Writ Petition is accordingly closed. The signed Written Instructions placed on record. No costs.
