The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Patratu P.S. Case No. 91 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.317 of 2024, S.T. No.118 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-B)(a)/26 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Ramgarh. On 10.04.2024, petitioner was apprehended by Patratu Police from Dadidih. On search, two loaded country-made pistols were recovered from his possession. It was submitted that the charge has been framed in this case and the petitioner is in custody for about nine months. Learned Spl.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Ramgarh, in connection with Patratu P.S.
