(Oral) Precisely, the grouse of the petitioner, as has been highlighted in the petition and further canvassed by Mr. Ashok Sood, learned Senior Counsel representing the petitioner, is that till date FIR No. 26 dated 04.02.2023 lodged at the behest of petitioner has not been taken to its logical end and as such, necessary directions are required to be issued to the police authorities to do the needful.
2. Having taken note of aforesaid grouse of the petitioner, this Court specifically called upon learned Additional Advocate General to have instructions from the Police Station concerned.
3. Pursuant to afore direction issued by this Court, learned Additional Advocate General has made available communication dated
10.01.2025 issued under the signatures of SHO, Police Station Paonta Sahib, perusal whereof reveals that police, after having investigated the case, has already prepared cancellation report and same shall be filed in the competent Court of law shortly.
4. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file objections to the cancellation report, if any, filed in the competent Court of law. Needless to say, the Court, before whom the objections are filed, shall decide the objection in accordance with the law, after affording
due
opportunity
of
being
heard
to
