The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Godda (M) P.S. Case No. 65 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 323/324/341/342/307/504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Godda. On 11.04.2024, petitioner and co-accused persons had assaulted the wife of the informant namely Pabli Devi, due to which, she sustained grievous injury on her head. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for more than six months. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail. It is alleged that the petitioner had assaulted the injured by an Axe. However, the injury has been opined to be caused by hard and blunt substance. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Godda, in connection with Godda (M) P.S.
