Petitioner has filed this petition with the following reliefs: “10.1 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue directions to the respondent authorities to decide the representation preferred by the petitioner, and also to decide the issue of possibilities of promotion to the post of Stenographer against the sanctioned vacant post available in the other medical institution, as the petitioner is ready & willing to move towards any other medical institution, if he has been so promoted. Wps 6636 of 2025 2 10.2 That, this Hon’ble court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief to the petitioner which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit & appropriate as per the facts & circumstances of the present case.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that vide Memo dated 07.02.2024, the Dean of CIMS Bilaspur has already recommended the matter to respondent-2 for consideration but the same has not been decided till date. In furtherance thereof, petitioner has moved representation before respondent-2 on 21.10.2024 (Annexure P4), which is also not decided till date. Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent-2 may be directed to take a decision on the pending representation (Annexure P4) of the petitioner in accordance with law within the stipulated time frame. 3. Learned State counsel has no objection if such a direction is being made to respondent-2 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within the stipulated time frame. 4. Considering the limited submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, respondent-2 is directed to take decision on the pending representation dated 21.10.2024 (Annexure P4) within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, in accordance with law, on its own merits. Petitioner is directed to produce copy of this order to respondent-2 within a week from today. 5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this petition stands disposed of.
