In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ of like nature and direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 22.05.2025 Annexure-E and consequently to consider reply submitted on 19.12.2023 Annexure-D and to pass appropriate favourable order and b) Pass such other reliefs as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case. 2. The case of the petitioner is that when he was working as the Chief Officer, Town Municipal Council, Sakaleshpura, Hassan District, a Departmental Enquiry had been initiated against him and an Enquiry Officer had been appointed. The said Enquiry Officer had submitted an Enquiry Report on 12.10.2023 vide Annexure-A. Thereafter, a Second Show Cause Notice has been issued to him vide Annexure-C dated 21.11.2023. Pursuant to the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:20464 WP No. 16953 of 2025 said show cause notice, he has submitted a reply dated 19.12.2023 vide Annexure-D. Thereafter, no action has been taken by the respondent. Again, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 22.05.2025 vide Annexure-E to the respondent. Since the representation of the petitioner has not been considered, he is before this Court. 3. The learned Additional Government Advocate submits that if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representation as well as the reply submitted by the petitioner will be considered by the competent authority in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.05.2025 at Annexure-E and reply submitted by the petitioner dated 19.12.2023 at Annexure-D, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, not later than 8 - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:20464 WP No. 16953 of 2025 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 5.
