ORAL ORDER Sri.Manjunatha Rayappa., AGA for the respondents has appeared in person.
2. The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct Sandal Urus of the Dargha Akhil Shah Khadri Bada Makhan situated at M.G.Road, Channapatna Town, Channaptna as requested by him vide Annexures-E and F.
3. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care.
4. The petitioner had requested the first respondent to grant permission to perform Annual Sandal Urus on the 5th and 6th December 2020. Now we are in the month of January 2025. Due to efflux of time, the request has spent itself. Hence,

nothing survives for consideration in the Writ Petition at this juncture. I decline to exercise power under the Writ jurisdiction.
