Cr.MP No. 99 of 2025 The present application under Section 528 of BNSS has been filed on behalf of applicant/respondent for release of the amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court. The application is duly supported with affidavit of the applicant. Perusal of the record reveals that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties before the National Lok Adalat held on 14.09.2024. Hence, a prayer has been made on behalf of the applicant/respondent to release a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- lying deposited in the Registry of this Court. Learned counsel for the non-applicant/ appellant submitted that he has no objection, in case, the amount is released in favour of the applicant/respondent. Heard. Having perused the averments made in the application, which are duly supported with the affidavit of the applicant, coupled with the fact that the matter stands finally decided before the National Lok Adalat, this Court finds it in the interest of justice to release the amount of
Rs.2,00,000/- lying deposited in the Registry of this Court, in favour of applicant/respondent, after proper verification and identification by remitting the same to his bank account, details whereof has been given in para-4 of the application. The application stands disposed of.
