BEFORE THE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT Vikram Singh Vs. Anil Sharma Criminal Revision No. 626 of 2025 09.05.2026 Present: Ms. Heena Chauhan, Advocate, for the petitioner alongwith petitioner-Vikram Singh in person. Mr. Kunal Thakur, Advocate, for the respondent. The matter has been referred for determination to the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties have voluntarily and amicably settled the matter with their free consent, will, volition and without any undue influence or misrepresentation. Both the parties have settled the matter and have already placed on record the Compromise Deed Ex. PA, which has been signed by both parties. Therefore, in view of the said Compromise Deed Ex. PA, the matter stands finally settled between the parties. Thus, in view of the aforesaid terms and conditions of the Compromise Deed Ex. PA, the matter stands finally settled between the parties. The terms and conditions of the settlement, as stated above, have been explained to the parties/counsel in Hindi, which they have admitted to be correct and have appended their signatures in evidence of the settlement. The Members have also countersigned the same. The compounding of the offence shall have an effect of acquittal. Accordingly, the petitioner-accused stands acquitted. Since the parties have adopted cost effective and speedy disposal of the matter, before the National Lok Adalat, therefore, it is not expedient to impose any compounding fee for the settlement. File be sent to the Registry of the Hon’ble High Court for doing the needful/consignment. Copy of order be supplied to the parties free of costs.
