The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bhawanathpur P.S. Case No.74 of 2023 (S.T. No.205 of 2024), for the offence registered under Section 304B of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Nagar Untari at Garhwa. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased Basanti Devi, who died due to poisoning in her matrimonial home within seven years of marriage. It is alleged that the accused persons had tortured to enforce the demand of dowry. It was submitted that the F.S.L. report has been received, from perusal of which, it appears that no poison was traced out in the viscera of the deceased. It was further submitted that mother of the deceased has been examined and she has stated that no dowry was demanded by the accused persons. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Nagar Untari at Garhwa, in connection Bhawanathpur P.S.
