1. Accused no.1 in Crime No.152/2025 registered by Hennur Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 351(2), 352, 69 read with 3(5) of BNS, 2023, is before this Court under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail. 2. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.152/2025 was registered by Hennur Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner and others based on the first information dated 13.04.2025 received from the victim girl aged about 20

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23763 CRL.P No. 8148 of 2025 years. During the course of investigation, petitioner herein was arrested on 14.04.2025 and subsequently remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl. Misc. No.3860/2025 was disposed of on
29.05.2025. Therefore, petitioner is before this Court. 4. Perusal of the first information would go to show that petitioner and the victim girl were acquainted to each other and in the first information itself, it is stated that petitioner and the victim girl were loving each other for the last six months. The allegation against the petitioner is that he had promised to marry the victim and had sexual intercourse with her. It is further alleged that subsequently petitioner had refused to marry the victim girl and he also had abused and assaulted her. 5. Petitioner who has no other criminal antecedents has been arrested in the present case on 14.04.2025 and ever since then he is in judicial custody. Investigation of the case is completed and charge sheet has been filed. Considering the nature of allegations found in the first information as well as in the charge sheet now filed against the petitioner and also since the petitioner and victim girl were undisputedly in a consensual

HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23763 CRL.P No. 8148 of 2025 relationship, I am of the opinion that petitioner's prayer for grant of regular bail is required to be answered affirmatively. Accordingly, the following order:
6. The petition is allowed.
The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.152/2025 registered by Hennur Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 351(2), 352, 69 read with 3(5) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) Petitioner shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court; b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons; c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses; d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future; e) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court without permission of
