The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pathalgadda P.S. Case No.12 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 17(b), 18(b), 21(b), 22(b), 25, 27, 28, 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-I- cum- Special Judge (NDPS), Chatra. It was submitted that 500 grams of opium was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized opium comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was finally submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at para-23 of this Bail Application. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-I-cum- Special Judge (NDPS), Chatra, in connection with Pathalgadda P.S.
