GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION NO: 21586 OF 2025 ORDER:- The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondent No.3 in not disposing of the Appeal filed by the Petitioner dated 20.06.2024 as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The facts leading to file the present Writ Petition are as follows:- The Respondent No.4 had issued a Charge Memo dated 10.08.2020 to the Petitioner whereunder two charges were framed. Pursuant to the enquiry conducted thereof, the charges were held proved and the Petitioner was imposed a punishment of withholding of two annual increments for a period of two years besides recovery. A statutory Appeal was filed by the Petitioner before the Respondent No.3 on 20.06.2024 and the same is pending. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 3. As the relief sought by the Petitioner in this Writ Petition is only disposal of the Appeal pending before the Respondent No.3, this Writ Petition is disposed of with following direction: (i) The Respondent No.3 shall dispose of the Appeal filed by the Petitioner dated 20.06.2024, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; (ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
