JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs: " Wherefore, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to (i) quash the FIR in Crime No.373/2023 registered by Respondent No.1/Halasur Police Station, Halasur Sub-Division, Bengaluru against the Petitioner who is arrayed as the sole Accused alleging commission of offence punishable U/s 420 of the Indian Penal - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23576 CRL.P No. 6729 of 2024 Code (produced herewith as Annexure-A) submitted before the learned 10th Addl. CMM Court, Mayo Hall, Bangalore and (ii) grant such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant in the circumstances of this case, in the interest of justice.." 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo, stating that the petition may be disposed of as withdrawn, reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to file a fresh petition, in the interest of justice and equity. The memo is placed on record. 3. The memo reads as under: MEMO FOR WITHDRAWAL "The petitioner in the above case humbly prays this Hon'ble Court be pleased to dismiss the above petition as withdrawn by granting liberty to file fresh petition by extending the interim order granted on 29.07.2024 for a period of 4 weeks for filing fresh petition seeking quash of FIR and Charge Sheet, since the respondent police have already filed the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:23576 CRL.P No. 6729 of 2024 charge sheet in C.C.No.60186/2024. The same may be taken on record, in the interest of justice and equity." 4. The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn, reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to file a comprehensive/fresh criminal petition.
