ORAL ORDER
1. Accused in Crime No.207/2025 registered by Kengeri Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 64, 79, 352, 351(2) of BNS, 2023, is before this Court under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail.
2. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.
3. FIR in Crime No.207/2025 was registered by Kengeri Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner herein based on the first information dated 10.05.2025 received from the victim lady aged about 29 years. During the course of investigation, petitioner was arrested on 10.05.2025 and remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl. Misc. No.4052/2025 was rejected on
31.05.2025. Therefore, petitioner is before this Court.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner having reiterated the grounds urged in the petition, has prayed to allow the petition.

5. Per contra, learned Addl. SPP has seriously opposed the petition.
6. Perusal of the averments in the first information would go to show that petitioner and the victim lady met each other in the month of December 2022 in a website known as Shaadi.com. It appears that subsequently they got acquainted to each other and the petitioner used to visit the place where the victim lady was staying. It is alleged in the first information that the petitioner had taken the victim lady to various places and had sexual intercourse with her against her wishes with a promise to marry her.
7. Petitioner who has been arrested in the present case on 10.05.2025, has no criminal antecedents. Major portion of the investigation is completed. Considering the aforesaid aspects of the matter and also considering the fact that petitioner and the victim lady were in consensual relationship for a considerable period of time and only after the petitioner's marriage was arranged with some other lady, the victim lady has approached the police, I am of the opinion that petitioner's prayer for grant

of regular bail requires to be answered affirmatively. Accordingly, the following order:
8. The petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.207/2025 registered by Kengeri Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 64, 79, 352, 351(2) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) Petitioner shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court;
b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons;
c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses;
d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future;
e) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court without permission of

the said Court until the case registered against him is disposed off.
