We see no merit in the appeal. Admittedly, the Revisional Authority has held that the petitioner was not responsible for the non-maintenance of registers therefore, the petitioner cannot be held liable for the fine imposed by the Reserve Bank for non-maintenance of the register. 2. The learned single Judge has only directed payment of the retiral benefits of the petitioner with interest at 6%. Upon conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings in favour of the petitioner in the writ petition, the consequence is automatic. Therefore, retention of retiral benefits by the Bank cannot be sustained. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.A.No. 756 of 2025 3.
