By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief: "(A). Issue an order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No.- 2 to pay the pending medical reimbursement claim. B. Issue an order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 17.12.2024." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in above regard petitioner has already represented the matter before the respondent No.- 2 by means of representation dated 17th December, 2024 but the same has remained pending till date. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection in the event a direction is issued to the respondent No.- 2 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.- 2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 17th December, 2024 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Needless to add, the order to be passed by the authority concerned as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one. It is further provided that in the event petitioner's claim is found genuine one then the amount shall be released by the authority concerned within a further period of six weeks.
