Heard the parties
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Panki P.S. Case No. 158 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 2616 of 2017, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1)(A), 25(1-B)(a), 26, 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Palamau.
3. On 23.11.2017, Panki Police apprehended co-accused persons namely Uchit Mahato and Prem Sagar Mahato from Lambi Pahadi and seized firearms from their possession.
4. It was submitted that the petitioner was neither arrested at the spot, nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that several co-accused persons have been granted bail by different co-ordinate Bench of this Court.
5. Considering the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Palamau in connection with Panki P.S. Case No. 158 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 2616 of 2017.
