Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:35442 Court No. - 33 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 7209 of 2025 Petitioner :- Smt. Vandana Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Ajeet Kumar Srivastava,Ashutosh Upadhyay Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Vikram D. Chauhan,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "I. issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the learned Additional District Judge 1st Jaunpur to decide the revision of the petitioner bearing Civil revision No.129 of 2023 (Smt. Vandana Vs. Raina Singh & others) (Annexure No.2) to writ petition." 3. Learned Standing has pointed out that Civil Revision No.129 of 2023 has been decided by order dated 23.10.2024, which is annexed as Annexure No.4 to the writ petition. Learned Standing Counsel submits that no such prayer can be granted for directing decision in the civil revision, which has already been decided. 4. A query is being made to learned counsel for petitioner, learned counsel for petitioner also submits that revision has been decided and the prayer in the present case seems to be incorrect. 5. In view of the fact that prayer in the writ petition itself is defective and is directly in-contravention of the fact that revision has already been decided so no direction can be issued. The prayer made in the writ petition is not maintainable and in fact, is preferred to mislead the Court. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed with a cost of Rs.5000/-. Petitioner shall deposit the said amount with the Registrar General of this Court within 15 days from today. If the amount is not deposited within the aforesaid period, the amount would be recovered by the District Magistrate, Jaunpur as arrears of land revenue and deposit with the Registrar General of this Court.
