2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Deoghar Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 97 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) of the I.P.C., 1860 and Sections 66(B), 66(C), 66(D) & 84(C) of the I.T. Act, 2008, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Deoghar.
3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 2685 of 2024 by order dated 07.05.2024.
4. On 27.12.2023, at about 09:30 a.m., Cyber Police, Deoghar received confidential information that cyber criminals had assembled in the village Basbutia and were committing cyber-crime. Police raided different places at village Basbutia and apprehended the petitioner along with co-accused persons. Mobile phones and e-gadgets were recovered from the possession of the accused persons. It appears that the mobile phone of the petitioner was used in cheating the innocent persons.
5. It appears that the petitioner has remained in custody for more than one year.
6. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge- II-cum-Special Judge Cyber Crime, Deoghar in connection with Deoghar Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 97 of 2023.
