The petitioner has been made accused in connection with R.I.T. P.S. Case No. 97 of 2023, corresponding to POCSO Case No.25 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 376(2)(f)/376(2)(n)/376(3)/376 AB/377/506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 5(l)/5m/5n/6 & 8 of POCSO Act, pending in the court of learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-1 at Seraikella. Petitioner is the step-father of the victim aged about 09 years. It is alleged that petitioner was subjecting the victim to sexual atrocities since last four years. It is further alleged that the petitioner also raped her. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
