GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: “ ... to pass an order or direction or Writ, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent nos.2 to 4 to take appropriate action on the 5th respondent to forbid him from taking unlawful action against the petitioners and their family members and pass ....” 2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents on Written Instructions dated 06.08.2024 would submit that the allegations made against the police officials by the petitioners are all false and baseless and that no further orders are necessary. 3. Relevant paragraph of the written instructions is extracted hereunder: It is submitted that in view of the facts and circumstances stated supra the 5th respondent herein i.e, the Inspector of Police, Penugonda Circle has nothing to do with the investigation in Cr.No.108/2018 registered against the SI of Police, Penugonda PS (By Kiran Kumar). Therefore, all the allegations of the petitioner in the representations forwarded to the higher authorities, including the Superintendent of Police, W.G.District and in the petitioner and his relatives, obstructing him from discharging his professional responsibilities, for withdrawal of case are absolutely false, baseless and concocted only for sake of filing this writ petition and the same are hereby denied. .... 3 For all the reasons stated above, it is therefore, prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to dismiss the writ petition as against this respondent police and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice. 4.
