This Writ Petition was filed in year 2021 seeking following reliefs:- “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari calling for record and to quash the advertisement dated 11.02.2020 (contained as annexure no. 1 to the writ petition) issued by respondent university. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari calling for record and to quash the impugned list of eligible candidates for interview dated 12.02.2021 (contained as annexure no. 6 to this writ petition)” 5. From the relief clause, it is apparent that petitioner has questioned the advertisement dated 11.02.2020 on the ground that the said advertisement is not as per Reservation Policy, applicable in the State of Uttarkahand. 6. Mr. Sandeep Kothari, Advocate, on 2025:UHC:2101-DB instructions, makes a statement at bar that the impugned advertisement dated 11.02.2020 was subsequently withdrawn and no one was selected or appointed pursuant to the said advertisement. Thus, he submits that Writ Petition (S/B) has become infructuous. 7. There is no one on behalf of petitioner to dispute the statement made by Mr. Sandeep Kothari, Advocate. 8.
