Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Vijoy Kr. Sinha, learned A.P.P. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court in B.A. No. 1960 of 2023. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that two of the co-accused, namely, Saddam Hussain and Md. Arif have been granted bail by this Court. It has further been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 23.11.2022. Learned counsel adds that out of 10 charge sheet witnesses, only 6 have been examined so far. Mr. Vijoy Kr. Sinha, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the case of the petitioner appears to be on a different footing to that of the co- accused, who have been granted bail by this Court. I am not inclined to re-consider his prayer for bail which stands rejected once again. This application stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Preet/-
