Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that petitioner has moved representation on 25.04.2025 (Annexure P1) to respondent-2 for grant of 18% interest on the delayed payment of retirement dues, and his representation is still pending before the authorities concerned. Therefore, the authorities concerned maybe directed to decide the representation of the petitioner at the earliest. 2. The submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner though objected by the learned State counsel on merits but would submit that petitioner had claimed WPS-758 of 2020 the withheld amount along with interest @ 18% per annum but in its order dated 15.10.2024, there is no mention/direction to pay interest on the Digitally signed by V PADMAVATHI Date: 2025.07.02 10:57:20 +0530 Wps 5981 of 2025 2 withheld amount, yet, the petitioner prays for interest on the said amount. However, learned State counsel does not object if a direction is given to respondent-2 to decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. 3. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, respondent-2 is directed to take a decision on the representation dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P1) submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law on its own merits within 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4. Petitioner is directed to produce copy of this order before respondent-2 within two weeks from today. 5. With the aforesaid direction, petition stands disposed of.
