GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not conducting investigation in Crime No.43 of 2025 on the file of Lingasamudram Police Station SPSR Nellore District as procedure contemplated under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 as illegal arbitrary obligation of statutory duty cast on him and violative of Principles of Natural Justice and violative of Articles 14 19 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to complete the investigation and file final report / charge sheet in Crime No.43 of 2025 on the file of Lingasamudram Police Station SPSR Nellore District as procedure contemplated under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023” 2 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.43 of 2025 and file a final report. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime and file a report in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. There shall be no order as to costs.
