The instant writ application has been preferred by the Petitioners praying therein for quashing the select list as contained in Letter no. 840 dated 27.11.2017 (Annexure-10), whereby the concerned Respondents have selected several unsuitable persons on the post of Block Coordinator and Social Mobilizer under the Swach Bharat Mission (G) after ignoring the candidature of the Petitioners, who possess all suitable qualifications and experience required for the above post.

At the outset, Ld. Counsel for the Respondents submits that the instant writ application has become infructuous in view of the fact that now the entire work has been entrusted to Outsourcing Agency and now the Respondents are only under an agreement with Outsource Agency for completion of the project work.

In reply to the aforesaid submission of learned counsel for the Respondents, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the instant writ application may be
disposed of by giving liberty to the Petitioners to approach

the concerned Respondent in order to recommend them for the work as they are having much experience.

Having regard to the aforesaid submission made by learned counsel for the Respondents that now the entire work has been outsourced to an Agency for completion of project work, no relief can be granted to the Petitioners.
However, if the petitioners so choose, they may file application/representation before the 3rd Respondent. If any application or representation is preferred before the 3rd Respondent, he with consultation with 5th Respondent may recommend the names of these petitioners to outsourcing Agency to take their work in view of the fact that the petitioners are having much experience in the field of project.

With the aforesaid observations/directions, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
