----- For the Petitioner: M/s. A. K. Kashyap, Sr. Advocate For the State : M/s. Shiv Shankar Kumar, A.P.P --- 03/13.01.2025 Heard the Parties. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ramgarh P.S. Case No. 223 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 191(2) and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ramgarh. Petitioner happens to be the father-in-law of the deceased Nipu Kumari who died within seven years of marriage due to asphyxia because of hanging. It further appears that the petitioner also used to torture her and did not provide her proper food and clothes. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased who died in her matrimonial home by hanging. Learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case and considering the nature of allegation; I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is hereby rejected. Learned court below shall expedite the trial.
